Five Generations of
Pembrokeshire Hospitality

Since 1847, The Anchor & Chain has stood watch over Saundersfoot harbour. What began as a fisherman's refuge — a place to warm cold hands around a coal fire and share tales of the day's catch — has grown into one of Pembrokeshire's most cherished coastal pubs.

The Morgan family has kept the fires burning through five generations. We still use the original stone hearth, still pour real ales by hand, and still believe that a pub is measured not by its decor but by the welcome at its door.

Dogs welcome. Children adored. Muddy boots positively encouraged.
